Reservation/Cancellation policy:

All reservations must be made in advance and secured with a payment. DHT accepts credit/debit cards via our online booking system (credit card processing fee added), as well as checks when booked well in advance. Let me know if you want to book a tour but prefer to mail a check, so I pencil you in. If
you want to check our availability and/or secure a reservation with a card click on                       .

Please be aware that most of the tours need to be booked at last 24 hours in advance.

Because Denali Horseback Tours ("DHT") is a small business and there is high demand for horseback tours during the summer months, DHT must enforce a strict cancellation and no-show policy.

If you cancel your tour, the following fees apply:
· At least 14 days notice before the originally booked tour: full refund less a 15% cancellation fee.
· Less than 14 days notice before the originally booked tour and no-show: no refund.

If you decide to change the date and/or time of the tour, you have to do so at least 2 days before the scheduled time and a $50 rescheduling fee will be applied to your reservation. Changes can be made only for the same calendar year and only if we can confirm availability on the new date and/or time. Please call, text or email us if you'd like to make changes. We are under no obligation to refund or reschedule any party that does not show up or is late for their pick-up or tour check-in. Weather is beyond our control and we plan to ride rain or shine, therefore there is no refund if rain is the reason for your cancellation. We would cancel a ride due to conditions we feel are unsafe for our trails. In this case a full refund will be issued.

To go on a trail ride you must accept the risks of horseback-riding by signing the “Release of Liability” form. A parent or guardian must sign the waiver for a child younger than 18 years old. All disabilities or health conditions must be disclosed prior to booking. We reserve the right to cancel a ride without a refund if there are any undisclosed special considerations discovered at the beginning of a tour that would interfere with the safety of riders and/or horses. You must listen closely to the pre-trip safety orientation given by your guide. At any point during your tour, if you are not following the guide's instructions and he/she feels that you are putting yourself, others, or the horses in danger, the guide has full authority to end your tour without a refund. Most of our trails are not accessible by a vehicle so you’d have to walk back in case you’re not able to ride.

In the event that a tour is canceled by Denali Horseback Tours a full refund will be provided.

Prices and times are subject to change without notice.
